KidsOut Half Term Fun Days in Glasgow

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of the G1 Group, KidsOut enabled 90 children and carers to brave a blizzard and attend a special performance of the film ‘Doolittle’ at the splendid Grosvenor Cinema in Glasgow’s West End during the February half-term break.

Some of the children came from a charity called Blameless and an associated group looking after children with Additional Support Needs, based in Hamilton. Steven Crowe, the charity’s managing director, commented: “KidsOut’s generosity towards Blameless over the last few months has touched us hugely, and we thank you.”

Other groups of children attending the performance came from the Cranhill Development Trust and Includem.

The KidsOut team hopes that everyone who attended the exclusive cinema Fun Day had a fantastic time!

KidsOut Fun Days are developed in consultation with our service users, always being customised to the interests of the children we support. In particular, they benefit the blossoming of four key areas essential to success later in life: social skills, confidence, motivation, and resilience. Children are empowered to develop the coping mechanisms needed for good mental health. Click here to find out more about KidsOut’s Fun Days.
