KidsOut & CHUMS Question of Sport Luton raises over £6,000

The first ever KidsOut & CHUMS Luton Question of Sport Gala Dinner was a great success, raising over £6,000 for both of the charities’ work with disadvantaged children in the local area. Over 90 people from Luton and Bedfordshire-based companies joined KidsOut and CHUMS at Luton Town Football Club for a night of fun and fundraising on Friday 4th October.ch818

KidsOut and CHUMS were thrilled to welcome Paul Burrell, the “voice of Arsenal F.C.”, to act as quiz master and host for the evening. Those in attendance were also treated to the company of a whole host of legends from Luton Town football club’s history, including Brian Stein and Ricky Hill. Congratulations to team Foxley Kingham Accountants Luton, well-deserved victors of the quiz!

ch807In addition to the main quiz, guests could take part in two auctions. There were some fantastic items up for grabs in both auctions, including a Luton Town F.C. signed shirt and football, a box for ten at Arsenal, and four tickets to see singer Jack Savoretti. The KidsOut and CHUMS team are sure the winners of the charity auctions will enjoy their fabulous prizes.

KidsOut would like to say a huge thank you to the CHUMS team, as the Question of Sport event would not have been possible without their collaboration and support. In particular, thank you to Declan Duggan, CHUMS’ Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. The money raised at this event will be used as vital funds to continue to support disadvantaged children in the Luton and Bedfordshire area, helping KidsOut bring fun and happiness to disadvantaged children throughout the UK.

Thanks again to everyone who attended and made the evening a huge success! Stay tuned for future collaborations with the CHUMS team!
