The Giving Tree – Fun & Happiness Shop

Donate a toy, fun day out or gift through The Giving Tree Shop

Our Giving Tree online shop now makes it possible to donate toys, days out and gifts all year round – don’t wait until Christmas to help make happy memories for disadvantaged children.

The famous Giving Tree and it’s Fun & Happiness Shop

The Giving Tree was originally created to be a fun alternative for the traditional Secret Santa, when instead of buying anonymous gifts for colleagues, the Giving Tree encourages people to buy a toy or gift for a disadvantaged child.

However, now the Giving Tree has become a heart-warming concept that runs 365 days a year, providing the opportunity for our kind supporters, to buy toys, gifts and Fun Days Out for children who need it most, when they need them most.

The toys you donate will provide a sense of hope, comfort and support to children, allowing them to experience the simple pleasure of play and helping them feel valued and cared for.

Each week, KidsOut provides thousands of toys for children who have escaped domestic abuse or are disadvantaged or have life-limiting conditions.

Last year we gave over 225,000+ toys to disadvantaged kids via The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree at Christmas

Ditch Secret Santa and bring the true meaning of Christmas to children who have nothing.

Originally designed to be a fun alternative to the traditional Secret Santa, The Giving Tree is now an annual event for many companies and schools who bring the true meaning of Christmas to the lives of over thousands of disadvantaged and vulnerable children each year.

It’s so simple to do, instead of buying gifts for colleagues, staff individually or collectively buy toys or gifts for children who might otherwise have nothing to open on Christmas morning.

How you organise it is up to you but many workplaces use our free Giving Tree tags to hang on their office Christmas tree as a symbol of a toy purchased for a child through The Giving Tree – Fun & Happiness Shop. Alternatively, you can buy toys and send them or deliver them to KidsOut at one of our collection points.

Please get in touch if you would like to take part in our Giving Tree campaign and would like to discuss providing a collection point for gifts, or where you can drop-off your gifts.

Other ways your company may be able to help
with The Giving Tree

If you or your organisation can provide new toys, tickets to the cinema, theatre, or any events suitable for children, or provide storage for toys during the lead up to Christmas we would love to hear from you.

How to donate for your Giving Tree

How to create your own office Giving Tree

If you have a Christmas tree in your workplace why not hang our free Giving Tree tags for every gift you buy for a child in need.

To buy a gift, just go to The Giving Tree Shop, select the products you would like to buy for a child or children and make your purchase at the checkout. You will also be asked if you want to include Gift Aid on your donation.

Once your transaction is complete, you will receive confirmation of your purchase and your gift will be delivered directly to KidsOut for distribution to a refuge in time for opening on Christmas morning.
