Day Out

Every June, the Rotary Organisation throughout Britain and Ireland together with KidsOut take over 25,000 disadvantaged children on a great big day out. The children visit the seaside, theme parks, adventure playgrounds & zoos giving them all wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Toy Box

Over 750,000 children witness domestic violence every year. Working with Women's Aid Refuges across the UK, KidsOut provides the children with a box of brand new toys when they leave with mum and move into their new home. This helps bring stability and fun into their lives when they need it most.

How it works

Multimedia Outreach

Over 3 million young people live in rural areas, many of whom are isolated by factors such as poverty and poor public transport. The Multimedia Outreach vans reach out to these young people and give them activities they enjoy and the opportunity to create something that they can be proud of.

KidsOut Phyzzpod™ is a cost-effective sensory environment and a truly versatile play and learning adventure space. Phyzzpod stimulates imaginations, develops speech, expressive skills and helps make young minds fit for learning. Phyzzpod brings sensory play into the mainstream learning environment.

World StoriesWorld Stories

1 in 8 children in the UK speaks English as their second language. KidsOut is creating an online resource to give children, teachers and parents access to over 100 stories in both the original language and the English translation. These stories will help children learn about each other’s cultures and improve their understanding of the world.
