Volunteer

KidsOut was founded by Rotary on the spirit of volunteerism and service to the community.

That ideal still runs strongly through the charity and we rely heavily on the generous support of numerous volunteers. Whether you live locally to our head office and have a few spare hours or you are interested in representing KidsOut to new possible corporate supporters, there is a place for you in our expanding team.

Volunteering with KidsOut is not only a good way to help local children, time with us can also fill up your CV, introduce you to new people and is just good fun!

If you are interested in getting more involved call us on 01525 385 252 or email [email protected].

Help out locally

There are lots of small and large jobs to do: representing the charity at local festivals; collecting donations for Giving Tree; prepping football scarves for our corporate networking events; sorting toys for Toy Box; and data entry for our audits. Stop by to chat with us and let us know how your skills can help us Make Kids Happy.

Join a committee or become an ambassador

Our fundraising events and corporate supporters are vital for funding more children to experience the benefits of a Fun Day or the surprise of a Toy Box. Committee members and ambassadors are what make big connections possible by using their vast networks, passion and skills. Let us know how your corporate experience or contacts can help us reach more children. Call us on 01525 243 219 or email [email protected].

Be an advocate

Even if you do not live locally to KidsOut or cannot commit much time, we still need your help to get the word out. Be an advocate for KidsOut and disadvantaged children by sharing our message online and in person. If you have special knowledge or contacts you think could help us, let us know. Call us on 01525 243 215 or email [email protected].
