We are really sad to announce that KidsOut has had to suspend the Funds4Fun scheme due to the current economic conditions. We’re really sorry that we have had to do this but, like most other charities, we’re finding it really difficult to raise money at the moment. The credit crunch has forced us to make some very hard decisions. Sadly Funds4Fun has had to be suspended so that we can keep funding the other services to disadvantaged children and young people that we provide.
If you applied in 2008 and you have already received notice that we will fund your application you will still receive your funding. However, all applications that we have not already approved will not be considered. If you have applied you should receive a letter telling you about this.
We will not be able to have a waiting list of applications so please do not apply until further notice. Any applications received or messages left on the answer phone will not be considered.
We intend to re-instate the scheme when the economy improves but at the moment we can’t give any date for when that might be. Please check our website towards the end of 2009 to find out whether things have changed.
