We want to ensure that your event is successful. Here are our Top 10 Tips:
- Whatever the Event, charge an entrance/ticket fee.
- Use our posters and press release to publicise your event – could
you also put up information in your local shop window, school and business
noticeboards.
- Have a raffle or quiz with prizes.
- Theme your event – if it is different, it is likely to attract more
interest.
- If you are feeling adventurous why not try to organise a larger event at
your local pub, club or hall.
- Have a competition where people pay to enter, or even arrange a sponsored
activity, such as a sponsored silence or walk.
- Ask your guests for donations.
- Get your friends involved – is anyone good at flower arranging, card
making, playing a musical instrument and could they donate their services
to your event.
- Involve local businesses, community groups and look outside your direct
locality – ie. neighbouring village.
- Never forget the cause!
