About two thirds of people in the UK make a regular donation to a charity. Such donations are not only a simple and efficient way of giving, but help beat the taxman too!
Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn (GAYE), enables you to give tax-free to a charity straight from your pay.
Providing your employer is signed up to a recognised payroll giving scheme (such as CAF - Charities Aid Foundation), GAYE offers a highly convenient, tax-efficient way to support KidsOut and our work for disadvantaged children and young people.
If your company isn't yet involved, why not suggest it to them? You/the employee decides how much to donate and the sum is then deducted automatically from payroll - before tax is removed. This means that if you want to give £10 a month, only £7.80 (or £6 if you are a higher rate tax payer) is removed from your net pay – the remainder comes straight from the taxman!

And remember, if you are a UK tax payer, don’t forget to giftaid it – enabling us to boost your donation by reclaiming the tax you have already paid on your money!
