In order to achieve our objective of helping more than 55,000 children and young people every year, we need to raise at least £1.5m year on year.
Each year in the UK .
- More than 135,000 children seek help as a result of domestic and physical
abuse of which more than 23,000 children spend time with a mother in
a women's refuge
- 75,000 children are known to care for a parent or sibling.
- More than 20,000 children suffer from terminal illnesses
- Over 3.5 million children live in low income households
- As many as 1 in 100 children are born with a lifelong disability

- £20 helps to fund a birthday party
- £50 helps towards a day out for a whole family
- £100 buys a Toy Box for a re-housed child
- £200 helps towards a fun activity break for a young carer
- £300 trains a storyteller who can help spread fun and happiness to thousands of special needs children
- £350 pays for a one-day music workshop for disadvantaged rural children
- £500 brings the joy of mobility though the purchase of a specially adapted tricycle for a disabled child
