Charity Of The Year Partnerships

KidsOut offers a unique opportunity to provide a corporate partnership that works to deliver a cause to which everyone can relate. A cause which fits well with commercial and CSR interests.

Our passion about bringing fun and happiness to disadvantaged children and young people is at the heart of what we do - bringing a warm and positive message to everyone. Through our work with individuals, families, schools and special groups we reach every major town and city in the UK.

We are flexible in our working approach and in developing corporate partnerships at all levels. By adopting KidsOut as your company's Charity of the Year we can work together to fulfill your commercial and marketing objectives through a sustainable, results-driven campaign that is designed to achieve your CSR goals and demonstrate your company's community values. At the same time, you will be making a very real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people - both within your community and throughout the UK.

Whether you're looking for a limited involvement, an individually tailored partnership, or event-led association, there are various areas of potential support.

asg

Ace Signs Group (ASG) adopted KidsOut as its chosen charity in December 2005. As well as making significant contributions in terms of fundraising and corporate donations, ASG offers its expertise and position as one of the UK’s leading sign and advertising manufacturers to produce KidsOut stands, event backdrops and, most notably, the graphics that appear on the new KidsOut Multi Media Mobile Van.

brakes group

In April 2006 KidsOut began an exciting partnership with Brakes – Europe’s leading suppliers to the catering industry. Over the next two years, we will be working closely with Brakes on a campaign aptly themed ‘Brakes for Kids’ where the company and its 7000 employees will be helping to raise £200,000 for KidsOut. The campaign also includes an employee volunteering programme where staff will have the opportunity to become KidsOut Ambassadors and help promote our work throughout the country.

“Working with KidsOut gives us the opportunity to make a genuine impact in the communities in which we work and live. Furthermore, it enables our employees to engage in projects and activities that help to develop them both personally and professionally. In terms of our Corporate Responsibility, it ticks all the boxes.”

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has nominated KidsOut as one of its chosen charities for the next two seasons.

Spurs will support KidsOut in a variety of ways. The first team will back the partnership to bolster awareness of KidsOut campaigns and the Club will offer coaching sessions as special days out for children living in difficult and challenging circumstances. A great deal of activity has already been scheduled for this season alone.

“I am thrilled to welcome KidsOut to the Club as our Nominated National Charity,” said Spurs Manager Martin Jol. “In KidsOut, we feel that we have found an ambitious partner with whom we have natural empathy. Football is a great way to bring so much happiness and energy to children and we look forward to working with the charity in helping to deliver this objective over the coming seasons.”

T G I Fridays

2006 saw the second year of KidsOut’s partnership with the popular American diner, TGI Friday’s. As well as continued fundraising activity throughout its 46 stores (which includes everything from car washing to fetes, and from sponsored slims to sponsored Marathons), TGI Friday’s ran a marketing initiative to support KidsOut with a donation on every chicken fajita ordered – raising over £2,500 per month!

In addition, the restaurants opened their doors to more than 700 special needs children who joined them in celebration of Thanksgiving Day.

“Our relationship with KidsOut has always been about fun. We’ve used this theme to encourage our members and guests to fundraise for the charity, and as we are all about fun ourselves, it has been immensely rewarding to be able to give something back within each of our local areas by organising parties and special days for disadvantaged children.”

Wragge & Co

Staff at Wragge & Co LLP, a major UK law firm, have voted KidsOut as their nominated charity for 2008. As well as their own fundraising initiatives, Wragge & Co are supporting some of our existing fundraising events, not least the KidsOut Question of Sports in both London and Birmingham. In addition to this they will also support KidsOut by way of pro bono advice if required.

Lorna Gavin, Head of Corporate Responsibility at Wragge & Co LLP, says:

"We are delighted to have KidsOut on board as our Charity of the Year for 2008. KidsOut was selected through a staff vote and received over half the votes so we always knew it was going to be a positive choice. The work we do with KidsOut is an important part of the community work that we do within wider corporate responsibility agenda for 2008. We have found it really easy to identify specific projects to support from the great work that KidsOut do. Because our people could readily understand the huge benefit of the toy boxes for children escaping domestic violence, or the simple but powerful effect of the Storytelling projects for example, they have been more than willing to take part in our events and to hand over their cash! We will be having fundraising events throughout the year, ranging from coffee mornings, Christmas pudding sales and dress down days through to a big City Challenge event which will hopefully raise thousands of pounds in one day. Bring it on!"
