Supporter of the Month – Tennent Caledonian Breweries

Each month KidsOut select a company or individual that have offered outstanding support during that month.  We are delighted to announce that Tennent Caledonian Breweries is KidsOut’s supporter of the month for November!

Tennent’s are a longstanding supporter of KidsOut, having been involved with fundraisingtennents through our corporate black tie events and providing runners for sponsored endurance events.  They also assist with organising Christmas parties for disadvantaged children in Scotland and VIP cinema screenings, helping to provide Fun Days, one of the charity’s core services.

This month our Glasgow Question of Sport event is being held at the Old Fruit Market on Wednesday 15th November, for which Tennent’s are the main supporter.  Additionally, Pamela Hodgson of Tennent’s is now in her fourth year as regional chair of the Glasgow committee, which involves organising the Glasgow Question of Sport event and assisting with fundraising and services delivered in the Glasgow area.  Pamela’s support is outstanding, and a lot of what KidsOut do in the Glasgow area wouldn’t be possible without her hard work and dedication to fundraising for the charity.

the-runners-2In addition to their support with the Glasgow fundraising event, employees from Tennent’s also recently volunteered to raise money for and run in the Great Scottish Run, a half marathon that took place in Glasgow.  The 13 team members not only underwent several months of gruelling training in order to be able to take part in the race, but also achieved an outstanding total of £10,000 through their fundraising.  This money will be used by the charity to continue to provide fun and happy memories for disadvantaged children in Scotland.

KidsOut would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Tennent’s for their continued loyalty to the charity, and their dedicated support to provide fun and happiness to local disadvantaged children.
