New Year trips to KidZania!
Throughout the months of January and February, KidsOut provided 133 children with fun days out to KidZania, the indoor city run by kids!
Groups of children aged 4–14 attended a four-hour experience where they explored sixty real-life role play adventures and tested their skills in a multitude of professions. These included the opportunity to work in the police or fire department, a pet wellbeing centre, and even in a TV studio. There were fun-filled and educational activities for every child, no matter what interest!
One group that attended said “being able to come to KidZania has allowed the children to do things independently and gain confidence in things they wouldn’t otherwise.”
Another told us they “enjoyed allowing the kids to rule the day and do what they wanted to do.”
One child loved the day so much that they were eager to tell us that they “really want to come back again!”
One 12 year old girl that attended commented “KidZania was amazing, I really enjoyed going, and I appreciate you letting me go. Thank you so much.”
A big thank you once again goes to our charity partner KidZania for their continued support. Trips like these definitely provide children with wonderful experiences to look forward to and to look back on.
