Manchester Triumphs A Resounding Success!

The Question of Sport Manchester triumphs a resounding success raising over £30,000 at the Lancashire County Cricket Club on Thursday.

The night was hosted by two remarkable guests, John Parrott, one of the world’s most eminent snooker players, and Darren Proctor, a radio presenter for the Key 103. Over 26 Manchester based firms including local finance companies, solicitors and sole traders met with some of the workers at the Manchester refuge to hear how the lives of local children are being transformed.
In total, the silent and main auction offered 19 amazing prizes. The most salient prizes included; a sit down meal for two at the Shard sold for £510, a holiday to Malta sold for £1,000, Golf with John Parrott sold for £800, an executive box at the Manchester United football ground sold for £2,000 and many more. Adding to the abundance of funds raised, over £5,000 was made through the fun days pledge. The Question of Sport quiz was highly competitive with Ernst and Young playing as Roma who took the the trophy as Question of Sport winners.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Stoller Charitable Trust and Pollen Street Capital for their generous donations, and to our KidsOut Chairman, Helen Pitcher for her ongoing support to the charity. Hope to see you all again next year!
