KidsOut take on the Royal Parks Half Marathon
KidsOut entered a brave team of budding runners into the Royal Parks Half Marathon again this year, for the 4th year running. This year the Royal Parks Half team of 40 have raised a staggering total of £12,050.50 so far, with donations still coming in!
The iconic marathon takes in some stunning sights of London, starting and finishing in Hyde Park, and taking in views of Kensington Gardens, The Green Park and St. James’s Park, in addition to Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall. The Royal Parks Half is known for its generally fast route, as the first mile is downhill – the perfect race to achieve a personal best! All of the KidsOut runners achieved very respectable times.
KidsOut would like to say an enormous thank you to everybody that ran in aid of KidsOut. Our team included seasoned runners who run a number of half marathons and full marathons every year, but it also included brand new runners who started their training from scratch. Each and every person that took part in the event has worked extremely hard both with the training and the incredible fundraise; neither of which is an easy task.
Donations are still open for the event, please click here to show your support and donate to our runners!
