Auction of Promises
Hire a venue, such as a local hall, get friends and colleagues to donate a promise of their time, use of their belongings or skills, or to donate a gift, and get selling to the highest bidder!

BBQs
Hold a summer fun day at your home, local park or workplace.   Charge for food, face painting and while you’re at it, put a raffle on too ...

Cycle to Nowhere
Bring in an exercise bike to your workplace, or go to a gym and get sponsored per mile to cycle for KidsOut to … nowhere!

Disco Dance
Get hold of a cool DJ, some great music and get dancing.  Charge entry, organise a raffle and have fun.

Challenge yourself

Event
Put on a local event - from a Coffee Morning to a Summer Ball. Use our community fundraising materials to help promote and fundraise at your events.

Flight of Fancy
Have you always wanted to challenge yourself?  Jump out of a plane, run a marathon, climb a mountain, cycle Mexico, trek in Peru.?  Contact KidsOut for more information on an experience of a lifetime and use an official sponsor form to raise even more money.

Glam Rock
Do you remember the 70’s?  Have a themed night around a great era in pop history.

And while we’re on a theme, how about Halloween or Bonfire Night?

Independence Day
4th July 2006 – make it a day to remember for disadvantaged children too, but helping to raise money by dressing all-American!

Come up with your own ideas to raise funds for KidsOut – don’t forget the first part of fundraising is all about having FUN!

Set up a karaoke night– people may pay you to stop singing!

Ladies Day
Could you recruit a chauffeur for the day … go shopping … visit a health spa … go out for dinner … a day of pampering while helping others.

Match of the Day
This year is World Cup and as football reaches fever pitch, why not organise world themed breakfasts, lunches or dinners while watching the matches …

Bake cakes, biscuits, home made jam, pies and tarts.  Everyone loves home cooking and it can be a great little earner … And you can raise even more money by being sponsored for the number of cakes you bake!

White water rafting, canoeing, abseiling – what could you and your team do and be sponsored for KidsOut?

Publicity
Make sure everyone knows what you are doing for KidsOut – contact the local media for publicity.  Put up posters in your community, schools and local groups.  Our Community Fund Raising team can help!

Quiz Night
Put your knowledge to the test.  Perhaps you can encourage your local pub or club to hold a quiz night in aid of local children.

Rock ‘n’ Roll
Fancy dress.  Karaoke.  Disco.  Tribute Band.  If you’ve got rock, the money will roll.

Slaves for the Day
Could you get a group of friends or colleagues to donate their time.  A day gardening, cooking, cleaning or babysitting?  At £5 an hour, you could  go a long way to helping disadvantaged children.

A challenging and fun way to raise money – from Easter Eggs to World Cup Flags!

Hold a “dress down day” at work or at school and pay a pound to KidsOut to take part.

Valentine’s Day
14th February – have a heart!

Wish Tree
Set up a Christmas tree poster in your school, local hall, workplace or pub.  Get some great prizes donated, and ask customers to bid for a wish to make their dreams come true.

Xmas
And while we’re on the theme of Christmas – don’t forget to keep fundraising top of the menu leading up to Xmas!

Yoghurt
Not to everyone’s taste – but how about getting sponsored to sit in a bath of yoghurt or cold baked beans?

Theme park, the seaside, theatre, bowling alley, football coaching, storytelling sessions, family holiday, performing arts workshops, gliding, breakaway days, play equipment and more.
