Gift Aid explained

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to claim back the basic rate of tax on donations received from UK taxpayers. Currently, for every £1 you donate, KidsOut can claim an extra 25p at no extra cost to you. Giftaid

In order to qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay an amount of income or capital gains tax at least equal to that claimed by KidsOut on your donation.

KidsOut is required by law to collect details from anyone wishing to claim Gift Aid, these details include your name, address and your declaration that you have UK taxpayer status. The online donation processor that KidsOut use will allow you to add Gift Aid to your donation, but for any other type of donation you can download a printable version of the Gift Aid form which you can then post to us.
