The KidsOut Day Out
Take a moment to close your eyes and remember the wonderful days out you enjoyed in your childhood. What was the best one? Maybe it was a trip to the seaside, a visit to a theme park or maybe a ride on a steam train?
Now think about how that day out made you feel then and the happiness that the memory gives you now.
That's exactly what KidsOut gives to nearly 30,000 disadvantaged children and young people every year. Without our help many of these kids wouldn't ever get a wonderful day out like this, to enjoy and treasure always.
Since 1999 KidsOut has been helping our friends in Rotary International to take thousands of disadvantaged kids out for a magical day on the second Wednesday in June each year.
For these children life often revolves around what happens within just a mile or two of home and many will never get a fantastic day out like this without Rotary International and KidsOut.
