Chocolate-y fun at Cadbury’s World!
For the months of May, June and July, an overwhelming total of 392 children and adults visited the fun and famous Cadbury’s World in Bournville.
The visit included the history of Cadbury, as well as the opportunity to taste all the different chocolates!
The families had a brilliant time, with comments from children, including:
“I love Cadbury’s World so much! It is so fun and I loved all the chocolates. They were yummy!”
“I loved meeting Freddo the chocolate frog, I had so much fun!”
One refuge worker said:
“The children really enjoyed their visit to Cadbury World – none of them had been before and neither had any of the women. The children enjoyed learning about the background of Cadburys and all the chocolate! The children talked about the trip for days afterwards as a really positive experience. The trip provided a fun family day out for 6 families that would not be able to afford it usually.”
Feedback from another refuge worker also included:
“Great trip to Cadbury’s World for all mums and children. Thank you KidsOut for the kind donation of tickets! The mothers all commented on how grateful they were for the opportunity to get out of refuge with their children, to do something fun.”
KidsOut are overjoyed that the children and their families enjoyed themselves. We are looking to organise more trips to Cadbury’s World in the next few months!
