Become a KidsOut ambassador
Although KidsOut provide five main services that encompass the whole of the UK we are a relatively small charity and need individuals to represent us at a local level. We are therefore looking for charity ambassadors who will promote KidsOut in a number of different ways. The role of a charity ambassador will include the following:
- To provide representation for KidsOut at some of the smaller events that KidsOut cannot always attend.
- To pursue fundraising opportunities within the region you are based, with the aim of forging relationships between KidsOut and other organisations.
- To actively look for ways in which KidsOut can be promoted on a more local level and respond when the opportunity arises.
- To raise awareness of KidsOut, including giving informative talks on how KidsOut operate, the key values of the charity and how individuals can further support the work of KidsOut.
- Event committee membership. Each of the main KidsOut fundraising events has an associated committee. Committee members undertake the task of selling tables to contacts, actively pursuing the donation of auction prizes and offering general support in the lead up to the event.
