Access Self Storage Birmingham launches Christmas appeal to fill storage rooms with gifts for KidsOut!

giving treeThe annual Access Self Storage Christmas Charity appeal is now open, with local residents and businesses invited to drop off donations to the Access Self Storage Birmingham central branch. This year, the store has asked the community to donate new toys for the children and families helped by KidsOut.

New toys can be left for KidsOut children’s charity at Access Self Storage Birmingham Central  on Sherlock Street, before December 14th.

KidsOut offers disadvantaged children, toys, fun days out and workshops to put a smile on their face and relieve the stress that can build in their daily lives. KidsOut supports children from a range of backgrounds, including those living with critical health issues, in economic hardship or with a disability and also children that have fled domestic abuse.

Lucy Breeden of KidsOut said: “Having the support of a company as big as Access Self Access-storage-uk-logo-600x300Storage is amazing, we are thrilled to be part of this year’s Christmas appeal. Many of the children we support are living in refuges and have arrived with only the clothes they have on their backs, these new toys will help give the children in our care a little bit of fun and relief from the stresses of daily life.”

Last year, the national Access Self Storage Christmas collection hit a record level with more than 1,600 gifts given to charities across the country.

All donations may be left at the reception of Access Self Storage Birmingham Central where they will be stored safely until they are delivered to KidsOut after the 14th of December.
